Peer Review Process
Manuscripts will be subjected to peer review process to determine their suitability for publication provided they fulfill the requirements of the journal as laid out in the instructions to authors. After the review, manuscripts will be returned for revision along with reviewer’s and/or editor’s comments.
The Editors of Journal of Advanced Scientific Research (JASR) each responsible for different area of science, seek advice from experts of in the appropriate field. Research articles and communications are reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers, review papers by at least three.
1. Each submitted manuscripts receive individual identification codes. After assigning the code Managing Editor sends it to an appropriate Editor. The Editors are responsible for final decision whether to accept or reject a manuscript. The Managing Editor only communicates the final decision, and informs the authors about further processing.
2. Authors should return the revised version (if requested) of their manuscript as soon as possible. On the first revision of an article authors are advised to resubmit their revised manuscript within 15 days. On the second revision authors need to return their revised manuscript within 7 days. Prompt action may ensure fast publication if a paper is finally accepted for publication in JASR
3. Finally accepted manuscripts in the pdf file format will be sent to the corresponding author for final proofreading. Authors are requested to check their proof pages carefully against manuscript and to send the filled correction format within 3 working days. The request for modifications and/or changes in the manuscript will not be entertained once it is published to the web.
4. After publication, the corresponding author is notified by email, and receives a pdf file with the published version of the manuscript.
A properly completed “Copyright Agreement and Authorship Responsibility” form must be provided for each accepted manuscript.
Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript can’t be communicated simultaneously to other journal; until it is withdrawn or final decision is communicated by editor.
