Abstract

The teacher and student factor is a leader in the preparation for the PIRLS international research program. The teacher equips with theoretical and practical knowledge. The description of PIRLS international assessment program and the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), the procedure for assessing the reading literacy of primary school pupils, modern methods and tools for improving the mechanisms of using international assessment programs for improving educational efficiency are provided.
