Abstract

In recent years, gamification has emerged as an innovative and effective approach in various fields, including education. This article explores the concept of gamification and adaptation of national games into teaching English as a second language (ESL) or foreign language (EFL). It examines the benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing gamification techniques in English language classrooms. Additionally, this article provides examples of successful gamification and national games applications and discusses the impact of gamification on student motivation, engagement, and language acquisition.
