Abstract

In experiments on white rats, the main energy substrates of the brain - glucose and glycogen, key enzymes and their transformations (hexokinase, amylase, phosphorylase), as well as the main ways of their utilization - respiration, glycolysis and the pentose pathway in the brain at various stages of cooling were studied. The phase structure of the restructuring of metabolic processes at the stages of hypothermia is shown, accompanied by qualitative and quantitative changes in the relationship of the main pathways.
