FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The aims of the pilot course included raising intercultural awareness, building cross-cultural communication and English language skills. Ways of tackling these problems and students’ post-course feedback are analyzed and explicated in this paper. The characteristic features of content and forms of realization of a course «Skills of intercultural communication in international environment» are given in the article.
