Abstract

Water-soluble polysaccharides (WSPS), pectin substances (PS) and hemicelluloses (HMC) were isolated from Syringa vulgaris leaves and the monosaccharide composition was determined. The results showed that the monosaccharide composition of polysaccharides belonged to arabinoglugalactans.
