PUNISHMENT METHOD AS A FACTOR OF EFFECTIVENESS IN THE TEACHING OF FLE

Abstract

The subject being the use of punishment in primary school, we will use readings and interviews with teachers, to question me on the effectiveness of punishment. By effectiveness, we mean the fact that the punishment is beneficial for the student and for the people who are in the same environment as him, namely his classmates. There are several types of punishments, and I want to compare these different types in order to better understand the use attributed to them. We want to find out if there are one or more punishments that are really beneficial for the student, and that we can then speak of effective punishment. Through the various professional practice courses that we have carried out, we can see that each teacher uses punishment as he seems most appropriate. We often question my internship supervisors on the subject, and everyone was able to argue their choice.
